About David Gaia Kano

David has over 25 years of application analysis and programming experience. Since starting his career in 1981, he has worked for commercial companies, educational and non-profit organizations. For some of the detailed history of his experience, see his resume.

For the last 10 years, David has specialized in Web application development. He worked for several years at the Dartmouth College Library, helping to create systems such as (links open in a new window or tab):

What you don't see following these links, is the "back end" user interfaces David helped to create, which allow the library staff to easily enter the information needed to create and maintain these dynamically generated web pages. He worked with the staff to understand their work flows and business rules, which were then programmed into the systems that would save them time and help them keep the library Web site up-to-date. For example, new and leaving staff members appear and disappear from the staff directory automatically on their starting and ending dates, so this information can be updated by the front office whenever convenient.

David is available to help you analyze your Web application needs. He will then research and recommend the best solution, constructed from a combination of existing (often free open source) and new custom software. The resulting creations will save you time and money while enhancing the services you provide for your customers! Call David at (603) 298-9882 or email him at kano115 at comcast dot net today.
